Resin Figure Size Guide: Choosing a Scale for Your Shelf
A figure can be the right height and still need more shelf space than expected. The base, a wide pose or an outstretched accessory can matter just as much as the character's height. This guide helps you choose a scale for your Cured Cove resin figure.
What does 1/6 or 1/12 scale mean?
Scale expresses a proportion. At the same reference size, a 1/6 figure is larger than a 1/12 figure. The smaller the second number, the larger the figure. It does not mean every character at a given scale has exactly the same finished dimensions.

These are our scale reference heights, not measured finished heights for every sculpt. Poses, bases and accessories change the overall dimensions. Check the product details or contact us for a specific measurement.
Measure the space, not just the height
- Measure the clear height between shelves, including any lip or light fitting.
- Check the usable depth and width. A base or horizontal weapon may extend beyond the figure.
- Leave room to lift the piece safely and dust around it without catching delicate details.
- If the fit is close, send us the product link, the scale you are considering and your available space before ordering.
Choose the sculpt first, then the scale
Compare the complete figure and base in the gallery. A seated character, a standing character and a diorama can use space differently even when the scale label matches. Chibi figures have stylized proportions, so use the listing and a specific measurement rather than assuming their dimensions match a realistically proportioned figure.
